The COVID-19 crisis has been devastating India. Many hospitals have been overwhelmed with the number of patients being admitted and many rural areas have minimal support. This fundraiser is a specific appeal to raise money for COVID-19 medical relief for urban and rural areas in India lacking essential resources. No amount is too small, this project is open for any amount of donation. This emergency appeal will be running from July to September (3 months). 

The process of implementation includes:  a needs assessment survey to identify beneficiaries, a selection of beneficiaries based on project criteria (those struggling from COVID-19 and its effects), organization of distribution with Tayyab Trust staff and volunteers, purchasing of all items & coordinating initial project activities,  distribution held as per the timeline established and reporting provided back to donors upon the project's completion. 

The locations of project implementation include Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Haryana, Rajasthan, Hyderabad and Bihar.

Your generous donations will help fund:

a) COVID-19 protection which would include the provision of safety packs consisting of masks, oximeters, antipyretics (anti-fever medications) and clothing. 

b) COVID-19 treatment: intervention on the ground at urban and rural hospitals,  patient medical bill reimbursement, medical assistance at home and hospital admission with oxygen support and timely medical care.
